Cordell & Cordell was co-founded in 1990 by Joseph E. Cordell and his wife, Yvonne. The firm grew out of a straightforward observation: many men going through divorce felt the family court system was working against them, and few firms were prepared to advocate specifically for them. That focus on fair representation became the foundation of the firm — and it still defines how we work today.
Courts today take a more balanced view of custody and support than they did 35 years ago. The people who turn to Cordell & Cordell have broadened too.
