Cosmich, Simmons & Brown, PLLC is a general civil litigation firm, with an emphasis in mass and toxic tort, general tort, insurance and commercial litigation and appeals. The firm is dedicated to aggressively representing its clients. We analyze the legal and factual issues at the outset of each case in order to map a strategy for achieving our clients' objectives. We also carefully evaluate each matter in order to dedicate the staff and other resources necessary to efficiently and effectively protect our clients' interests.

One of the tenets of our approach to client representation is that the best results are obtained for a client, whether in settlement negotiations or in a courtroom, if the opposing party knows that we are capable of and willing to aggressively try a case if our client chooses not to settle. To that end, we prepare each case as if it were going to trial. In those cases where it is determined that settlement is appropriate, we have been able to obtain more favorable outcomes for our clients by negotiating from a position of trial readiness.

Successful resolution of complex cases in multiple jurisdictions often requires innovative and creative thinking. We possess the experience to assist our clients in developing long-term strategic visions, including far-reaching settlement and trial strategies across jurisdictional boundaries.

We are committed to being responsive to each client's needs and to giving each client individualized attention. We also understand the importance of prompt, comprehensive case evaluation and reporting, and candid communications regarding the strengths and weaknesses of our client's position.

The firm makes effective, cost efficient use of technology. We have state of the art information management systems which enable us to efficiently manage large volumes of documents and information in complex litigated matters. In addition, we can develop visual trial presentations to effectively present technical, scientific, financial or other information to the jury.
