Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Attorney Corey J. Day graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law full-time evening division in May of 2013. Prior to attending Law School, Mr. Day graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. While attending law school, Mr. Day worked full time in the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office in varying capacities. For four years, Mr. Day acted as the paralegal for the Violent Crime, Firearms, and Narcotics unit where he worked tirelessly to aid in the prosecution of hundreds of criminal cases. Mr. Day then took on the position of the Communications Coordinator for the District Attorney's Office prior to being sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney for Allegheny County.Over the next four years, Mr. Day prosecuted hundreds of cases involving a wide range of criminal charges from the preliminary hearing stage to the final trial date and every hearing, motion, and brief in between.
