The current composition of Finley Law Firm, P.C. can be traced back 85 years to the founding of Carr, Cox, Evans & Riley in 1924. Traditionally, the Firm has been noted for its outstanding civil litigation practice. Finley attorneys have been selected for inclusion in professional honorary organizations because of their accomplishments and skill, including the American College of Trial Lawyers, the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates to name several.

Finley litigation attorneys are noted for their successful defense of hundreds of trials and appeals on behalf of doctors, nurses, health care facilities and providers. Our attorneys apply this same expertise to defense of insurance professionals, architects, engineers, lawyers, dentists and a variety of other professionals. Finley lawyers handle all aspects of construction litigation and a broad spectrum of product liability matters.

The Firm routinely provides valuable assistance to our insurance clients in such matters as coverage issues including the interpretation and construction of policy language involving personal and commercial lines, excess coverage and reinsurance.
