An Experienced Criminal Defense Attorney Who Understands Both Sides Of The Courtroom

For any legal issue, you want your lawyer to have a deep understanding of all aspects of your case. As a former prosecutor, I have firsthand knowledge of the strategies that prosecutors use to secure convictions against criminal defendants. Using this experience, I will work closely with you to develop a legal strategy to protect your freedom and minimize the impact of misdemeanor or felony charges on your life. For many years now, I have been defending those facing criminal charges, with a long and successful record to show for it. I use every legal tool available to help each client achieve the best outcome available in their case, whether it is dropped charges, reduced charges or a lighter sentence.

At Joel Hand Law, you will work directly with me rather than getting passed off to a paralegal or junior attorney, as you might at a larger firm. I limit the number of cases I take at any one time to ensure that every one of my clients receives personal and focused attention. From the beginning of your case until the end, I will make sure that you are well informed on the status and stakes of your case so that you can make informed and empowered decisions throughout the process.
