After 21 years of trial practice as a senior partner in a large firm, Joe Milton formed Joseph P. Milton, P.A. in January, 1990. In January, 1993, Eric Leach became a partner, and the firm name changed to Milton & Leach, P.A. In January, 1996, James L. D' Andrea became a partner and the firm name changed to Milton, Leach & D'Andrea, P.A. In January 2002, Joshua A. Whitman P.A. merged with this firm and the name was changed to Milton, Leach, Whitman, D'Andrea, & Charek, P.A. In June, 2002, Michael P. Milton became a shareholder in the firm which is now known as Milton, Leach, Whitman, D'Andrea & Milton, P.A. The firm is a general civil litigation firm with practice emphasis in railroad defense, admiralty, medical malpractice, trucking cases, products liability, personal injury and wrongful death. The firm encourages continued professional development for all staff through professional association activities and community affairs, as well as continuing legal education.
