About this firm

The law office of R. Steve Bowden & Associates was founded in 1984 to assist people who have been injured or have lost a loved one as a result of another’s negligence. Our practice has expanded to include not only personal injury and wrongful death representation, but also advocacy in cases involving workers’ compensation, Social Security benefits and insurance claims. In all cases, our fundamental commitment is to help you recover.

We have become well-known in the community for our advocacy for those who have been injured and wronged. That advocacy means protecting people like you against big insurance companies who refuse to do what is right.

Our law firm’s founder, attorney R. Steve Bowden, has experience working for an insurance company. He knows from firsthand experience that The Insurance Company Is NOT On Your Side®. At first, insurance adjusters may seem friendly. They may say they are willing to help, but when it comes down to it, they have one goal: to minimize the amount of benefits and compensation the insurance company provides. They want to pay as little as possible. They do not care if you are left with medical bills that are not covered. We do.

We understand how the insurance claims process works. We understand the insurance company’s tactics. Most importantly, we know how to overcome those tactics to get meaningful results for people like you. We also understand the medical community and the ways that medical negligence and malpractice can be brushed over or even hidden.

You deserve personal attention, and our team of lawyers is here to provide it. No matter what type of case you need help with, you can be certain that we will stand by your side from start to finish, putting our decades of experience to work to help you.
