Spivey serves as an active member of the Florida Justice Association, which is an organization dedicated to preserving the rights of people who have been or will become involved in accidents. Formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Florida Justice Association is a state-wide association of lawyers who work together in order to strengthen Florida's civil justice system on behalf of all individuals who may become involved in the civil justice system at some point during their lifetimes. The Association is wholly dedicated to protecting the interests of all individuals and injured persons in Florida and upholding the 7th Amendment Right to a trial by a jury.
