ERISA in Washington, DC

The Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, commonly known as ERISA, is a federal law that sets out rules for company pension plans and health insurance plans. Under ERISA, employees have certainly legal rights in the event a company has denied benefits, breached its fiduciary duty or inadequately disclosed changes to employee benefits plans.
