Criminal Defense

Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell attorneys have extensive experience representing clients in criminal matters in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level. The defense of individuals under investigation by law enforcement or accused of crimes requires a thorough review of the evidence, knowledge of the applicable law--including the latest appellate decisions interpreting rights afforded under the United States Constitution--and recognition from the prosecution that counsel will be prepared to try the case, if necessary. Our attorneys utilize all of these factors to achieve the best possible result for our clients.

The firm's Criminal Defense Practice is headed by Richard Greenberg, an attorney with more than thirty two years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer and who has tried over 100 criminal jury trials in state and federal court. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in "Best Lawyers in America" in the field of criminal defense every year since 2006. Richard is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL), and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is currently the Treasurer of FACDL and will become President in 2018.
