Asmar, Schor & McKenna, PLLC is a Washington, D.C.-based law firm providing legal services to corporations, partnerships, small businesses, and individuals in the practice areas of construction law and litigation, government contracting, contract drafting, negotiation and delivery, home building and large scale residential construction, international and special projects, commercial leasing, and general corporate matters. We stress the management of risk and the early and efficient resolution of business disputes. We draft integrated and effective sets of contracts prior to the beginning of projects, customized to our clients' business plan, counsel our clients during the bidding process, advise and assist them in contract modifications and contract administration issues throughout the course of projects delivery, and assist in analyzing, evaluating, formulating, and reviewing claims for presentation or response, as well as in contract and project close-out related issues. We negotiate, litigate, or arbitrate all matters to conclusion and provide full service support.

The services ASM's attorneys provide are regional, national and international in scope. Our attorneys routinely handle matters before federal and state courts, agencies, and administrative courts and boards around the world, and are consistently featured in and recognized by publications such as Chambers USA, Super Lawyers, the Washington Legal Times, Best Lawyers, Forbes and Who's Who Legal. Many of our attorneys have achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale Hubbell. Charles M. Asmar is Chairman-elect of the Washington Building Congress and Laurence Schor is a former President of the American College of Construction Lawyers.
