About this firm

Beal Law Firm began in May 1992 when Eric Beal left the big firms of Dallas and started a solo practice in Arlington, Texas. At the time, the firm was called the Law Offices of Eric Beal. The very first paying case that the firm signed up was a family law case involving termination and step-parent adoption, and those clients became friends for life.

From the very beginning, BLF has handled family law work, in fact Eric Beal handled his first divorce case while working for one of the largest (350 attorneys) and most respected firms in Dallas, Johnson & Gibbs, P.C.

Over the next 15 years, the firm handled hundreds of cases in a wide variety of areas including family law – divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, termination, etc. – juvenile, breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, insurance code, employment law, intellectual property, adult criminal law, misappropriation, probate, mental health law, and personal injury – both plaintiff and defense.

In 2007, having changed the name of the firm to Beal Law Firm, moved to Southlake, Texas, and with a docket that by then had become about 75% family law, the firm decided to focus exclusively on family law.

We are now a Team of attorneys that practice exclusively family law and are proud of the fact that we have been able to help people all over the state of Texas as well as clients located in China, Italy, England, the Middle East, Hawaii, New York, and many other parts of the world.
